Magical Vegas recently did some research with Las Vegas women, asking them about their favourite accents. Guessed It? That’s right — English! We all know that going to America as an English person gets you… well your chances are infinitely higher if you’re looking for love. There are comments like ‘Oh my gawd you’re so cute’, ‘Say tomato’ *giggles*, and ‘I looovvee your accent’. The French came in a distant second, followed by the Irish and Scottish accents, though all were a long way off from the 41% who chose English.
I couldn’t leave the Finger Lakes without checking out a few more vineyards — this time, on the Cayuga Wine Trail. First stop? Lucas Vineyards, a recommendation I’d picked up after asking for tips on Instagram. Lucas won us over with a fun tasting, whimsical bottle designs, and wine slushies. Yes, you read that right — wine slushies. Can we talk about this being the greatest hybrid to ever happen to the alcoholic beverage industry or what?
Lisbon may be one of the most underrated cities in Western Europe. It really does have it all. Sunshine, history, a walkable city, great food and nightlife and a thriving cafe scene with excellent wi-fi. Plus when you are living here on pounds (or any currency), everything is cheap, cheap, cheap. This combination makes it the perfect city to be able to work on your own projects
and live without ‘working’ as a Digital Nomad.
