This week, we take you to the heart of Jerusalem: the shuk (Machane Yehuda market), where locals come to shop, eat, socialise and now, drink. As the bustling market shuts down each evening, the bars and nightlife begins with a more playful vibe. We meet up with Avi Moskowitz, the owner of the Beer Bazaar there, who gives us the inside track from a local perspective, and reveals just why the shuk is so special.
This video is the first of a three-part series in association with the Jerusalem Development Authority. Filmed by Chris Goldenbaum and Jacob Ross, keep an eye out for the second installment next Thursday.
