This three-minute ode to the Russian city showcases its myriad highlights.

“St. Petersburg was built on a swamp, Peter the Great’s antipode to chaotic Moscow, has survived uprisings, floods and blockade to become Europe’s third largest city.

“While shooting a documentary I had the chance to capture some living shots of this wonderful city. In most of modern videos, it’s represented in time-lapses or aerial views, that can’t let you understand real heartbeat and spirit of the city. This city is different from most Russians cities. You can can feel there magic of poetry, romance, majesty and loneliness in a good way.”
