"The Island of Hawai'i, the largest of the archipelago, only continues to grow larger. Two of its five volcanoes remain active, with Kilauea continuing to erupt and add mass to the island today. This video chronicles a short journey through the various terrains and astonishing landscapes of Hawai'i, one million years in the making. Accompanied by classic Polynesian drums, this minute and a half piece takes us through the Northern Coast's spectacular valleys, above the clouds on the summit of Mauna Kea, and into the fires of Kilauea."
